Some delays regarding the infrastructure have slowed the progress of completing Providence Place in Arlington, developer says.
The Arlington Design Review Commission has endorsed two more phases of the mixed-use Providence Place development.
In January, the Orgels purchased the 45-acre mixed-use property on Milton Wilson Boulevard from the Bank of Bartlett.
The Whataburger location in Arlington has received site plan approval from the town’s Planning Commission, moving it closer to construction.
“We’re interested in this property for multiple reasons,” Tower Ventures partner Benjamin Orgel said. “We even liked this location before the announcement of the Ford plant.”
Several developments in Arlington — including the West Tennessee Veterans Home — received their latest approval from the town’s Planning Commission.
Revisions made to Providence Place in Arlington receive endorsement from the town’s Planning Commission, bringing the project more in line with today’s commercial market.
