Welcome back, fans, to the Grizzlies Insider, where you can find the latest NBA news and analysis from Daily Memphian staffers Drew Hill, Chris Herrington and Geoff Calkins.

Speculation suggests (and this is merely a guess based on a previous Instagram interview Ja Morant did for his 21st birthday last month), that Don Julio 1942 was the drink of choice. Cheers!
To celebrate, the second-year player released two new songs on Soundcloud, a music streaming app, that he had been teasing since the NBA’s hiatus in March.
Teammate Justise Winslow joined Jackson in the action, releasing a song of his own titled “Black Manu.”

OK, maybe not.
