At least for the 2021 season maybe we should consider calling TCU, Memphis-West.
Why? The Horned Frogs landed another Memphis transfer when senior defensive back T.J. Carter announced his commitment to the program earlier this week.
Carter stunned Tigers when he entered the transfer portal. He was a four-year starter for the team and, despite taking a step back this past season, fans were excited about his potential return.
Now we see why he departed, though. He’ll also join former Memphis tackle Obinna Eze in Fort Worth.
After accomplishing so much at Memphis, it appears the duo want to see how they compare at the Power Five level. A strong showing could do wonders for their draft stock.
