Welcome back to your Grizzlies Insider, where we deliver the latest NBA news and analysis straight to your inbox.

Here’s the good news, Grizzlies fans: Ja Morant won’t need an offseason procedure!

All the point guard has to do now is sit around until the bone bruise in his right knee feels better. Sounds easy enough – but maybe not when you’re Morant.

“As far as this offseason for me, I have no choice but to rest for it to heal,” Morant said. “It’s going to be tough. I just have to find ways to have basketball around. But it’s definitely going to be tough for me to stay away from basketball and have to sit down and lay around until I’m back to myself.”

To see when Morant is expected to return, and what Grizzlies vice president of basketball operations Zach Kleiman said about the point guard’s injury, click here
