John Konchar, a key player off the bench for the Grizzlies, has reportedly agreed on a contract extension.
The three-year deal is worth $19 million, Konchar’s agent, George Langberg, told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Konchar, a shooting guard out of Purdue-Fort Wayne, signed a two-way contract with the Grizzlies after going undrafted in 2019. He then signed a four-year $9 million ahead of the 2020-21 season.
The Grizzlies lost shooting guard De’Anthony Melton in a trade during the draft, which could potentially free more minutes for 26-year-old Konchar to play this upcoming season.
