The Grizzlies were so close.

Memphis nearly had the chance to play for their second summer league title in three seasons, but a loss to the Boston Celtics on Thursday finally put them out of reach. 

Which, in the end, may not be the worst thing for Memphis, who has already been on the road for more than a week playing in summer league games. A trip to the championship would have extended their stay an extra day.
