It’s the offseason for Desmond Bane, but the Grizzlies guard hasn’t exactly slowed down since Memphis was bounced from the playoffs.

The guard has traveled all across the United States, he has been on vacation, made a stop into summer league, hit the gym with teammates in multiple states and celebrated the birth of his first child last month.

So when someone on Twitter pointed out that the summer has flown by, Bane appropriately responded, “Man whatttt?”

And then he got a response from teammate Ja Morant.

“You know what dat mean shoota,” Morant tweeted. He was talking about the basketball season that is right around the corner.

In October, Bane and Morant will pair up in the backcourt for their third season together. Each of their first two seasons, the duo improved their play together. And now the hope is that they will stay as a unit in the long term.
