Christmas may be over, but you can relive the magic of the season as Mannheim Steamroller brings their annual holiday show to the Orpheum — just a few days late. Now in its 35th year, “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas” has come to embody the season with traditional carols and original songs that combine classical music with elements of new age and rock, paired with a multimedia light show. 7:30 p.m. $45 to $95. Did you put off a drive through Shelby Farms Park’s “Starry Nights” because the line was too long before Christmas? Well, the park’s holiday lights are still up, and here’s your chance to see them on foot; lines be darned. This 2.25-mile evening run is family-friendly and dog-friendly. And that’s what you’ll get at Lafayette’s this New Year’s Eve as two dance party bands — Formerly Known As and Twin Soul — come together to help you dance (and sing) your way into 2023. South Memphis rapper Lukah, electronic DJ and producer Qemist and singer-songwriter Raneem Imam headline Art Bazaar’s New Year’s Eve party that features DJs, vendors, fashion, paintings and photos. The night’s lineup also includes performances from Son.Person, The Goddessie, DJ Spaceage and DJ Mala Leche (who also is a notable graphic designer). And if you work up an appetite, Luxx Grill is the food truck of the evening. Chef Josh Mutchnick has curated a six-course dinner that includes black truffle and celeriac soup, line-caught halibut with tom kha flavors and a seared New York strip with a red wine reduction. The Orange Mound hip-hop duo headlines what may be the crunkest New Year’s Eve party in town (Railgarten even made a hype video). Comedian Oscar P will play host, and there’s a special prix fixe menu at The Farmer. Got little ones?
