If anyone knows the difference between experiencing a Grizzlies game in person rather than watching at home, it’s Memphis agitator Dillon Brooks.

Brooks has been suspended three times this season. He’s watched games from his couch. And, yes, he’s just as intense as you would think.

Is he yelling at the television?

“A little bit,” Brooks acknowledged on Friday night. “I got disappointed most times on the defensive end. The offense is going to take care of itself every night. But I didn’t like the lack of attention on the defensive end.

“I shouldn’t be the one that’s getting guys going. It has to be someone within the team. I’ll gladly do it every night, but we have to find a way to play better defense. None of that ‘Olay!’ s---.”

Brooks would much prefer to get on his teammates in person.
