The recruitment process was easy.
Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant didn’t need to sell teammate Derrick Rose on the quality of his 5th and 6th grade AAU team called Twelve Time.
Rose’s son, PJ, was already begging to be on Morant’s team.
“It was really PJ texting me every day being persistent,” Rose said. “He was asking, ‘Are you by him? Are you with him on the team plane? Can you give him the phone?’
“I’m like, ‘No, bruh, I’m trying to give him space.’”
