Early voting ahead of the Aug. 1 election day in Shelby County ends Saturday, July 27. Through Thursday, July 25, a total of 31,310 of the county’s 593,684 registered voters — or 5.3% — had cast early and absentee ballots, according to the Shelby County Election Commission’s turnout numbers.
