A little more than two weeks after Dante Harris joined the Memphis basketball program, the Tigers finally got a solid sample size of his game in their system.
Harris is a 6-foot former Virginia and Georgetown point guard whose commitment to the No. 18 Tigers (13-3, 3-0 AAC) as a midseason transfer was first reported Dec. 27. He played more than eight minutes for coach Penny Hardaway’s team for the first time in Saturday’s 74-70 home win against East Carolina.
