The Memphis Grizzlies announced late Thursday that guard Scotty Pippen Jr. will undergo a sesamoidectomy to address ongoing discomfort in his right big toe.

According to the news release, Pippen Jr. is expected to make a full recovery following the procedure and “a timeline for his return will be provided” afterward.
