Fall has officially fallen, and spooky season is right around the corner. So it’s time to pile some pumpkins onto your porch and plan some wholesome (or scary!) family fun. Let our Halloween guide to corn mazes, pumpkin patches, haunted houses and other events help you prepare for the season.

And that’s not all: Our guide to trick-or-treating and grown-up Halloween parties drops Oct. 12. 

CORN MAZES

Jones Orchard corn maze: This year’s 10-acre maze is Tennessee-themed with a state logo, the state capitol building and a guitar. It opens on Oct. 2, and on that first weekend, the maze runs 6-9:30 p.m. on Friday and noon-9:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. After that, normal hours are Friday 6-11 p.m., Saturday noon-11 p.m. and Sunday noon-9:30 p.m. $12 for adults and children 5 and older and free for kids under 4. There are also two haunted attractions: Shadowlands and Hysteria. And Jones Orchard has a pumpkin patch, too. 7170 Highway 51 N. in Millington. More info here.

Cedar Hill Farm corn maze: Annual corn maze in Hernando with plenty of other attractions (pumpkin patch, live music, hayrides, flower fields, a petting zoo and kiddie rides). General admission includes all activities, but prices vary. Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. More info here.

The Mid-South Maze at Agricenter International: This year’s corn maze design is Peter Pan-themed with a special message reminding maze-goers to “Stay Lost.” The maze is open now through Halloween night. Open Wednesday-Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday noon-10 p.m. and Sunday noon-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays are haunted corn maze nights. $8 for kids, $12 for adults or $25 for haunted nights. 7777 Walnut Grove Road. Priddy Farms corn maze: Priddy Farms, previously located in Bartlett, is now in Millington. But they still have an annual pumpkin patch and lots of other fall activities. The corn maze is included in general admission, which also grants access to the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, 9-hole golf course and hayrides and more. Tickets include all of the above. $20 (adults and kids ages 3 and up) or $12 (kids 12 to 35 months). PUMPKIN PATCHES

Cedar Hill Farm pumpkin patch: Annual pumpkin patch in Hernando with plenty of other attractions (live music, hayrides, flower fields, a petting zoo and kiddie rides). General admission includes all activities, but prices vary. This pumpkin patch is dog-friendly, but they must be on a leash and have a ticket as well. Pumpkins must be purchased separately. Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. More info here.

Pumpkin patch at Jones Orchard: Shop from pre-picked pumpkins and fall displays at Jones Orchard’s location at 6880 Singleton Pkwy. There’s also a 10-acre corn maze. 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. More info here.

Second Baptist Church pumpkin patch: Pumpkin and gourd sale with family photo areas and free slices of pumpkin bread, baked daily by church members. Runs through Oct. 31. Proceeds support the church’s student missions. Open from 10 a.m.-sundown daily. 4680 Walnut Grove Road. More info here.

Midtown Nursery: This nursery is selling all types of pumpkins and gourds to meet your seasonal needs. Open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. every day, except when they close at 5 p.m. Sundays. 2396 Poplar Ave.

Jones Orchard: The orchard is not doing apple-picking this year, but you can buy picked apples at one of their stands to get in the fall spirit. Open daily 8 a.m.-6 p.m. 6850 Singleton Pkwy. and 7170 U.S. 51 N. More info here.

HAUNTED HOUSES

Cedar Hill’s Haunted Farm: This haunted trail takes visitors through the woods at this Hernando, Mississippi-based attraction that also features a pumpkin patch, fire pits, a corn maze, gift shop and snack bar. Ticket prices vary. Access to the farm and fire pits opens at 5 p.m., but the attractions won’t start until dark (between 7 and 7:30 p.m.) Fridays-Sundays. 8 Love Road, Hernando. More info here.

Haunted Car Wash: The Shine and Roll Car Wash transforms into a haunt every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in October 7-10 p.m. Expect creepy characters, jump scares, a haunted tunnel, spooky photo opps — all while your car gets scrubbed clean. Early-bird tickets are $25 online, but they’ll go up to $50 soon. 3610 Centennial Drive. More info here.

Hauntedweb Scream Park: Choose from four haunted attractions There’s also a zombie hunt, several escape rooms and a bar (which you can access for an extra $5). Ticket prices vary, and you can buy tickets to just one haunted attraction or all four. Fast passes are available. 2665 South Perkins Road. More info here.

Wicked Ways Haunted House: Wicked Ways is celebrating 15 years in 2026 with its two haunted attractions — the Tormented Extreme Virtual Reality Encounter and the Cannibal 5-Minute Escape Room — in an old warehouse at 160 Cumberland St. in the Broad Avenue Arts District. Tickets start at $23.95, and fast passes are available. Times vary. Runs through Oct. 21. 160 Cumberland St. More info here.

Crosstown Arts presents Fright-tober Film Series: Crosstown Arts will be showing free spooky cinema every Tuesday at Crosstown Theater at 6:30 p.m. The lineup includes “Carnival of Souls” on Oct. 6, “Cure” on Oct. 13, “The Witch” on Oct. 20 and “Halloween” on Oct. 27. More info here.

Tombs: A Mausoleum Tour of Elmwood Cemetery: Learn the history behind Elmwood’s above-ground burial chambers at this 90-minute walking tour on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10:30 a.m. More info here.

Monster Market: Artist Lauren Rae Holterman’s annual Halloween pop-up for local makers celebrates 10 years this year. It opens Friday, Oct. 16, and runs through Oct. 25 at The Medicine Factory. More info here.

Junior League of Memphis Witches Run 5K/10K: This annual fundraiser for the Junior League features two race options, a costume contest, a “boo-mosa” bar and a silent auction. Race is on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 9 a.m. Register here.

Flightmares: Aerial Arts Haunted Experience: High Expectations Aerial Arts is putting on this Halloween-themed show where aerialists will perform against a backdrop of an abandoned hospital, a ghostly graveyard and a sinister attic. Showtimes are at the High Expectations studio (319 Cumberland St.) on Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. Get tickets here.

Howl-O-ween Hustle 5K at the Memphis Zoo: This new race takes runners through the zoo and Overton Park on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 a.m. Costumes are encouraged, and there’s a post-race party with live music. Learn more and register here.
