The Grizzlies get Smart.

On The Daily Memphian’s Memphis Grizzlies podcast, beat writer Drew Hill and columnist Chris Herrington talk about the 2023 NBA draft, in which the Grizzlies got Marcus Smart from the Boston Celtics.

On an extra episode, Hill and Herrington break down Ja Morant’s 25-game suspension and what that means for the team.

On the WKNO-TV program “Behind The Headlines,” Memphis mayoral contender Frank Colvett says he would be “the first mayor that is extraordinarily pro-development almost from a genetic standpoint.” He talks about how he would tackle economic development projects, the high number of renters, and property owners who hold on to properties.

Noel Durant, the Tennessee director of the Trust for Public Land, sits down with Eric Barnes on The Sidebar to talk about the changes — and the challenges — happening with Memphis parks.
