The faces may change but the end goal is always the same for Briarcrest volleyball.
The defending Division 2-AA state champions got off to fast start this season, perhaps surprisingly considering the new faces in the lineup from 2022 and the relative youth of the team in general. The last couple of weeks have seen some defeats though and now coach April Jauregui said her team is gearing for a final push that will return them to Murfreesboro later this month.
Don’t bet against them.
And don’t bet against Houston and Colliervillle to provide excitement on the soccer pitch. This week, the rivals got together to determine first place in the upcoming district tournament. Lastly, we always appreciate help in spotlighting our top high school athletes — in all sports.
