’Tis the season for all-region football teams.

The coaches from Region 8-6A revealed their best this week as standouts from Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Cordova, Germantown, Houston, White Station and Whitehaven being recognized.

Other regions are expected to be announced in the days and weeks to come.

And speaking of Region 8, they swept their counterparts in the first round of the postseason for the second year in a row. Bartlett will travel to Houston for a second-round match-up while Germantown heads to Collierville.
