The Week in Prep Sports

Football signing day is always special.

At Bolton High, it was even more so this year.

Four players from the class of 2026 will continue their careers at the next level—and with the transfer portal limiting and lessening opportunities for high schoolers, that’s reason enough for celebration.

But coach C.J. Marshall will always be grateful for the leadership of this group, which helped steer the entire team after a tragic start to the 2025 season.

Elsewhere, Collierville soccer continued its winning ways. And we saluted some of our top basketball players with a night out at FedExForum, thanks to our season-long sponsorship with the good folks at OrthoSouth.

And as always, we need your help. Coaches and stat-keepers can send in their scores, highlights and top performers from each game either by e-mailing jvarlas@dailymemphian.com or via Twitter @johnvarlas.
