Tis the season for spring sports honors.

This week, we continued to honor our best prep athletes with our track and field and swimming awards. Girls track was colored in maroon, with Collierville’s Khari Webb and Alisa Seymour winning athlete and coach of the year for the third straight year.

Boys track also saluted a repeat winner and a history-making coach while twin sisters from Houston ruled in the pool.

Postseason awards from baseball, lacrosse, soccer and softball are still to come. — John Varlas
