In six weeks, there will be real live high school football that counts.
 
For now, there are just questions. And we have answers.
 
Or at least we tried.
 
This week, the Daily Memphian tackled (get it? Tackled?) some of the most pertinent topics heading into the 2026 season. Who is the transfer that will make the biggest impact? What incoming freshman will help his team the most?
 
And — most importantly — who has the best team?
