The Week in Prep Sports

The end of the school year means the beginning of postseason awards. The Daily Memphian is recognizing the accomplishments of spring sports this week, with boys and girls track, softball, baseball and tennis already spotlighted. For each sport, we salute our player of the year, coach of the year and all-metro teams for Divisions 1 and 2. Among those already recognized are Central track standout Jordan Ware and Miss Softball winner Addie Graham of Arlington. And soccer and lacrosse are still to come. — John Varlas
