On this week’s Sound Bites, Chris Herrington fills in for Jennifer Biggs to talk with Black Sheep Catering’s Meredith Clinton about speakeasies and gas station food.

John Bear, the CEO of the company that rivals the Tennessee Valley Authority as power supplier for Memphis Light, Gas & Water, said the savings estimate that is currently being provided by MLGW’s consulting firm is low. On “Behind the Headlines,” Bear said the savings would be closer to at least $100 million a year.

Chris Herrington and Drew Hill recap the summer league games on this week’s edition of the Grizzlies Podcast, with special attention to Kenneth Lofton Jr.’s performance in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
