In this week’s On the Ballot, we look at early voting totals ahead of the Aug. 4 election. Plus, Shelby County District Attorney incumbent Amy Weirich appeared on local “shock jock” Thaddeus Matthews’ show. The appearance is raising some questions since Weirich’s office is actively prosecuting Matthews for a series of high-level misdemeanor offenses involving the alleged harassment of a Memphis woman. 

 
 
 

The 86,637 early voters for the 14-day period ending Saturday, July 30, turned out in force for the last two days.
