It’s been a week of tragedies, unlike anything seen in living memory. Families have voids that can never be filled, many Memphians no longer feel safe and the whole city is on edge. It’s times like these that the Spirit of Memphis must shine as never before. Geoff Calkins describes one such shining moment, when thousands finished Eliza’s run.
