As we celebrate our fourth anniversary, The Daily Memphian CEO Eric Barnes hosted an “Ask Me Anything” event where he answered burning questions from Memphians.

“When you have this emotional time, everybody wants action,” said Memphis Shelby Crime Commission board chairman Ben Adams on this week’s “Behind the Headlines.” He was joined by Chase Carlisle of Memphis City Council, reporter Bill Dries and Eric Barnes to break down the city’s reaction to the violence over the past weeks.

The Grizzlies’ first preseason game is almost here, and beat writer Drew Hill and columnist Chris Herrington measure where the Grizz players stand as they prep to begin training camp.

Emily Bishop and Karen Lebovitz from MidotwnMemphis.org chat on The Sidebar about the Madison Avenue Improvement Project, an effort to beautify the area with organizations like City of Memphis and Memphis City Beautiful.
