The Grizzlies have plenty of financial decisions to make this summer. 

Perhaps none are bigger than what to do with Jaren Jackson Jr., who is eligible for an extension, and Justise Winslow, who has a $13 million team option on the table. 

Those topics have already been discussed at length. Jackson, specifically, in Chris Herrington’s column earlier this week. 

So in the meantime, the two Grizzlies players traveled west to work out this offseason with notable NBA trainer Chris Johnson in Los Angeles. 

Remember, they also spent all of last offseason together rehabbing injuries. 

But the Grizzlies players are not alone. In fact, their gym is packed with NBA talent, including Philadelphia guard Tyrese Maxey and Hornets forward Miles Bridges — a former Michigan State Spartan like Jackson. 

Talk about some interesting games of pickup. 

It will be an important offseason for both Memphis players and equally as important for the Memphis front office. Can they hold (do they want to?) hold this core in place?
