Charcuterie is back, just in time to add to your Thanksgiving tables. And speaking of tables (and chairs, couches, bathtubs), the VESTA Home Show returns this weekend.
VESTA Home Show at Forest Bend Acres Subdivision, starting Saturday:
Tired of sitting on the couch watching HGTV and want to walk around some new and fancy houses? You’re in luck, as the annual VESTA Home Show starts Saturday and is open six days a week through Dec. 12 (closed Thanksgiving Day). The tour includes five “magnificent, multi-million dollar homes that redefine excellence,” so they say. Check out the new hotness (sorry) in furnishings, fixtures and whatever else goes into houses these days. 9300 Forest Bend Ct. Weekdays: $15 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. The Millenium Tour at FedExForum, Sunday:
Hip-hop and R&B fans of a certain age (i.e., younger than me but not, you know, young) can take a trip down memory lane, with circa-2000 favorites such as R&B singer Omarion, rapper (Lil no more) Bow Wow, special-guest-as-feature-attraction Ashanti and many more. Will the latter sing the “Always on Time” hook even if Ja Rule isn’t there to provide the verses? If there’s any justice, yes. This show was rescheduled from March. The COVID vaccine/negative test requirement for Grizzlies and Tigers games will not apply. 8 p.m. Tickets start at $69.50. See here for more info. — Herrington

Craft Food & Wine Festival at The Columns, Sunday:
The second Craft Food & Wine fest returns two years after the first, another COVID-era delay. A benefit for Church Health, the event showcases local food and beverages from more than 40 vendors.
