Welcome back to your Grizzlies Insider, where we deliver the latest NBA news and analysis straight to your inbox. This week, we’ll be bringing you extra editions of the Insider as the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the NBA playoffs.

With 100% unison they all said they were going to boo.

“Any time he touches the ball, and even if I’m at home, he’s still getting a boo,” said Harris Campbell, a Warriors fan in attendance Saturday night at Chase Center.

He won’t be the only one doing that.

Campbell was talking about Dillon Brooks, of course, the Grizzlies guard coming off suspension for a flagrant 2 foul that fractured Gary Payton II’s elbow. The drama that has followed is more fit for a daytime soap opera than a basketball series.

There’s been talk of breaking the “code” by Warriors coach Steve Kerr, shots fired back by Taylor Jenkins in defense of his players, then a here-we-go-again moment after the Grizzlies were hot with Jordan Poole for pulling on Morant’s knee.
