Here’s the stadium capacity, average attendance and capacity percentage for each team in the Athletic American Conference last season. 

Memphis

  • Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium capacity: 58,325
  • Average attendance in 2021: 31,295
  • Largest crowd: 43,461 against Mississippi State on Sept. 18, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 53.6%

Cincinnati

  • Nippert Stadium Capacity: 40,000 (sell-out crowd = 37,978)
  • Average attendance: 37,339
  • Largest crowd: 37,978 (six times)
  • Average stadium capacity: 93%

Houston

  • TDECU Stadium capacity: 40,000
  • Average attendance in 2021: 28,141
  • Largest crowd: 43,478 against Texas Tech on Sept. 4, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 70%

UCF

  • Bounce House capacity: 45,301
  • Average attendance in 2021: 40,427
  • Largest crowd: 43,928 against Boise State on Sept. 2, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 89%

Tulsa

  • Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium capacity: 30,000
  • Average attendance in 2021: 16,077
  • Largest crowd: 17,593 against Memphis on Oct. 9, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 53.5%

USF

  • Raymond James Stadium capacity: 65,890
  • Average attendance in 2021: 33,469
  • Largest crowd: 64,692 against Florida on Sept. 11, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 50.8%

Temple

  • Lincoln Financial Field capacity: 67,594
  • Average attendance in 2021: 21,464
  • Largest crowd: 28,573 against Memphis on Oct. 2, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 31.7%

Navy

  • Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium seating capacity: 34,000 (around 38,000 when standing room only tickets are sold)
  • Average attendance in 2021: 31,095
  • Largest crowd: 36,997 against Air Force on Sept. 11, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 92.1% (not including standing room only capacity)

East Carolina

  • Dowdy Ficklen Stadium capacity: 50,000
  • Average attendance in 2021: 36,059
  • Largest crowd: 40,816 against South Carolina on Sept. 11, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 72%

SMU

  • Gerald J. Ford Stadium capacity: 32,000
  • Average attendance in 2021: 23,171
  • Largest crowd: 29,121 against North Texas on Sept. 9, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 72%

Tulane

  • Yulman Stadium capacity: 30,000
  • Average attendance in 2021: 14,574
  • Largest crowd: 22,784 against Tulsa on Nov. 13, 2021
  • Average stadium capacity: 48.5%
