The Grizzlies rookies were already nervous about having to dance on Sunday afternoon, but once they saw the number of fans that jammed into FedExForum for the open practice, their anxiety level went up another notch.

“When the rooks got out there they said, ‘Yo, we have to dance in front of this many people?’ ” Memphis forward Xavier Tillman Sr. said. “I told them, ‘Yep, that’s more than expected.’ But that was pretty awesome to see the city standing behind us for an open practice. The love that they have for us, no matter what we are doing is pretty awesome.”
