Grizzlies Insider: Memphis to be broadcast in Africa

The Memphis Grizzlies’ fan base is quickly expanding thanks to the team’s superstar power, and a new television deal will help them reach places they never could before.
On Thursday, NBA Africa and ESPN Africa announced a multiyear agreement that will broadcast a record of more than 180 NBA regular season and Playoff games each season, including the entire Conference Finals and Finals, beginning with the 2022-23 NBA season.
“As the home of American sports in Africa, ESPN is committed to showcasing the very best in premier sporting content through a uniquely diversified and exciting portfolio of sporting leagues to audiences across Africa,” said Kyle De Klerk, Director: Sports Commercial and Business, The Walt Disney Company Africa.
The Grizzlies will play in one of seven games selected for primetime in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, this season.
