I don’t know about you, but my closet is jam-packed with “Memphis” tees, and I need another one like I need a hole in my head. But Choose901’s new designs (peep them all right here) are pretty rad, and I might have to make room for a couple more shirts. In addition to the usual tees, they’re branching out this year with shorts featuring the Downtown skyline, a button-down shirt with popular Memphis signs (like the Joe’s Wines & Liquor sputnik) and plenty more. Besides Choose901 merch, you can also shop from local makers, like Pretty Useful and Thistle & Bee. Crosstown Concourse food vendors Abner’s and Wolf River Brisket will set up pop-up food stalls at the market, which will be located on the fourth floor. Noon to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Free. 1350 Concourse Ave., Suite 463. Click here for more information. — Bianca Phillips

Bodywerk Earth Festival at Memphis Current, Central Station and Young Avenue Deli, Thursday-Sunday:

Bodywerk DJs, pictured here, will perform across three venues for Earth Festival April 20-22. (Courtesy Bodywerk)

Bodywerk started as a collective of Memphis DJs who met through the WYXR radio station. Now, that collective also has a record label. These days, Bodywerk DJs are split between Memphis and New York, and play shows on each coast and in cities in between. Bodywerk DJs Qemist, Nico, Ross al Ghul and DJ Blingg will be joined by guest DJs Niyah West (based in New York) and Moonchild Steph (based in Nashville) during this Earth Day celebration in Memphis. The festival includes four shows in three locations: Thursday at Memphis Current, Friday at Central Station, Saturday at Young Avenue Deli and Sunday at Central Station. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. nightly. Free admission. 497 N. Hollywood (Memphis Current). 545 S. Main St. (Central Station). 2119 Young Ave. (Young Avenue Deli) — Elle Perry

4/20 Festival at Grind City Brewing, Thursday:

Ounce of Hope will host its annual 4/20 Festival at Grind City Brewing on April 20. (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian)

You know what time it is. Ounce of Hope, a Memphis-based aquaponic cannabis company, is hosting its annual 4/20 fest with live music by Grape the Band and DJ: That Dude Rob, food from Fry Guy Memphis and Sift Bakery (for when you get the munchies), a bourbon tasting from Athens Distribution and, most importantly, cannabis (the legal kind). Ounce of Hope will have CBD and Delta-8 products for sale. Starts at 4:20 p.m. (of course it does) and runs through 10 p.m. Free. 76 Waterworks Ave. Click here for more information. — Phillips

Better Than Ezra, Sister Hazel and Ingram Hill at BankPlus Amphitheater, Thursday:

Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra performed at Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival on Sept. 22, 2019. Better Than Ezra will perform in the newly renovated BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove on April 20. (Al Wagner/Invision/AP file)

If you’ve been “Desperately Wanting” to see Better Than Ezra since their late-1990s heyday, here’s your chance to see them “In the Blood.” It’s bound to be “Good.” And if you didn’t just see what I did there, you’re probably not interested in Better Than Ezra. But if you’re forever stuck in the 1990s (like me), you might want to catch this show in the newly renovated BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove. This show, with opening acts Sister Hazel and Ingram Hill, is the grand reopening for the amphitheater. 7 p.m. $30 to $95. 6285 Snowden Lane, Southaven. Click here for more information. — Phillips

“Little Richard: I Am Everything” at Crosstown Theater, Thursday:

Little Richard

If the mid-Fifties rock ’n’ roll moment was a kind of cultural rupture for America, Little Richard was perhaps the biggest bang of all. Elvis Presley sold more records and invaded more living room televisions, but Little Richard was the true harbinger of the racial and sexual anarchy the music promised or threatened, depending on your perspective. This new documentary, likely getting its lone local theatrical showing as part of the Crosstown Arts film series, purports to dig deep into the context and meaning of this figure in American culture who was at once singular, but also part of a continuum of Black and/or queer culture. A-wop-bop-a-lu-bop-a-wop-bam-boom. 7 p.m. $5. See here for more info. – Chris Herrington

Crosstown Arts will host four separate art exhibitions with works by McLean Fahnestock, Khara Woods, Tangela Mathis and Carl Fox. In the screening room, Fahnestock’s “Deceive the Heavens to Cross the Seas” will feature videos in which the sea and sky are flipped to create a false horizon. Woods’ “Edgewise: Exploring Pattern and Rhythm with Line” in the east gallery is a collection of paintings, sculpture and more inspired by basic geometry. In the west gallery, Mathis’ “Entrances, Exits and the Spaces Betwixt” promises to offer a glimpse into the artists’ mental, emotional and spiritual transformation. And Carl Fox’s “Color Thread” features works in acrylic, oil and watercolor installed under the Art Bar’s bar top. Opening runs from 6 to 8 p.m., and all four exhibitions will be on view through Aug. 6. 1350 Concourse Ave., Suite 280. Click here for more information. — Phillips

Shinedown at FedExForum, Friday:

Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers, at his home in Eads, will finally get to perform at FedExForum on Friday, April 21. (Patrick Lantrip/The Daily Memphian)

FedExForum suddenly has lots of concerts on its schedule for spring and summer. All but one of them are R&B or country, genres where major contemporary artists are still popular enough to fill arenas. Younger rock bands still writing new songs for audiences of this size? An endangered species. But Shinedown has bucked the downward commercial trend for newer rock, with more than 10 million albums sold over a 20-year run and a record 18 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Lead guitarist Zach Myers is a lifelong Memphian and front-row fixture as a celebrity-of-sorts Grizzlies fan. He spends a lot of time at FedExForum. This will be his first time to play there in a major homecoming concert. I talked with Myers about his Memphis journey and this week’s concert. Three Days Grace and From Ashes to New open. 7 p.m. Tickets start at $46. See here for more info. — Herrington

Memphis Mineral, Fossil, and Jewelry Show at the Agricenter International, Saturday-Sunday:

The Memphis Mineral, Fossil, and Jewelry Show runs from April 21-22 at Agricenter International. (Courtesy MMFJS)

Crystal collectors, this one’s for you. Vendors from all over gather at this annual expo to sell everything from amethyst to azurite to aquamarine, in raw crystal form, polished into gemstones, worked into jewelry or as beads for crafting — all at prices much lower than what you’d pay in a retail store. Not sure what to do with your crystal finds? There will be demos on jewelry making, wire wrapping, copper enameling and more. There’s also a kid zone with a gem and fossil dig, a “touch me” table (where kids can touch all the things) and more. Plus, the grand door prize for the event are megalodon shark teeth from a whole family of sharks. (Cue the “Baby Shark” song; I’m sorry). 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. $6 day pass for adults or $8 for two-day passes, $2 for kids 12 and under and free to kids in Scouts uniforms. 7777 Walnut Grove Rd. CommUnity Festival at Snowden School, Saturday:

Even if you’re not a Snowden School family, you’re invited to the Midtown school’s annual CommUnity Festival for a full day of activities the kids will love. At the fest, they can hop in a bounce house, run through an obstacle course, get their face painted, climb a rock wall and get some lunch from food trucks. More than 40 local vendors will be at the school if you want to do some shopping, plus there’s a book swap and live performances from music groups and dance teams. It sounds like a pleasant way to spend a Saturday and connect with folks from the neighborhood. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Free to attend. 1870 N. Parkway. Click here for more information. — Holly Whitfield

Puppy Palooza at Crosstown Concourse, Saturday:

Dogs greet one another at last year’s Puppy Palooza. The annual dog party will be held at Crosstown Concourse on April 22. (Stacy Wright/Courtesy Crosstown Arts)

Every dog has its day, and that day is Saturday. This annual dog fest is back on the Crosstown Concourse plaza, and all well-behaved dogs are invited (and their humans can come, too). Pups can enjoy a dog costume contest, yard games, bacon bubbles and a magic show with Mr. Nick and his chihuahua Cranberry. Dawg Team Apparel will offer nail clipping service for those pooches who want to feel pampered, and both Church Health and Temple Israel will provide animal blessings (depending on your dog’s faith, of course). Noon to 3 p.m. Free. 1350 Concourse Ave. Click here for more information. — Phillips

Lizzo Concert at FedExForum, Monday:

Lizzo, pictured here at The BRIT Awards in February, will perform at FedExForum on April 24. (KGC-03/STAR MAX/IPx 2023/AP file)

Memphis will have to turn up on a Monday to make the most of the Lizzo concert’s date change after the Grizzlies-Lakers playoff Game 5 bumped her show up by two days. The Grammy-winning, double Platinum-certified superstar now brings her show to FedExForum on the fourth stop of The Special 2our on Monday, April 24. By luck, I had the chance to see Lizzo in 2019 — at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, of all places — right after she’d hit the top of the charts with the catchy, “Truth Hurts”. That high-energy, dance-heavy production shook the rafters back then, so I’m excited to see how this tour feels in a large arena with a huge number of new fans. 8 p.m., tickets start at $36.50. See here for more info. — Whitfield
