Welcome back to your Grizzlies Insider, where we deliver the latest NBA news and analysis straight to your inbox twice a week.

When Jordan Goodwin arrived in Memphis 14 days ago, he was aware there was a chance.

Two-way point guard Jacob Gilyard was fast approaching his limit for NBA games (Two-way players can play a maximum of 50 NBA games), and the Grizzlies were low on available players.

“It was a part of our conversations,” Goodwin said on Monday morning. “I actually had a couple of options, but I felt like this was the best fit for me, as far as being close to home and the playing style.”
