Grizzlies Insider: Jaren Jackson Jr. injury is ‘low grade’ strain

Head coach Taylor Jenkins dropped the news just before he walked off on Tuesday for the first day of Memphis Grizzlies training camp.
Jaren Jackson Jr. sustained a hamstring strain on a drive to the basket. It needed imaging, so the team went and got it.
And they got great news.
The injury qualifies as a “low-grade” strain, according to Jenkins’ Wednesday update. It means that it could heal relatively quickly.
