Former Briarcrest standout and Memphis Grizzlies point guard Kennedy Chandler is returning to the NBA with the Utah Jazz, according to a report posted Friday on X by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Chandler, who leads the NBA G League in assists, signed a 10-day contract with the Jazz.

Chandler was a second-round pick by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2022 draft, but was traded on draft night to Memphis, where he played the 2022-23 season with the Grizzlies. He was waived in April 2023.
