Week four of the high school football season Friday will be highlighted by Houston playing a visit to ECS.

The Eagles, who are the defending state champions in Division 2-AA and currently ranked No. 1 in the state in their division, are 2-0 following last week’s 44-0 victory over Harding. The defense intercepted four passes in that one—returning two for touchdowns—while holding the Lions to just 31 yards of offense. It was ECS’ 12th consecutive victory overall and the last team to beat them was Houston, which won last year’s game, 36-20.

Houston enters the contest 0-2, with losses to Christian Brothers and Briarcrest.
