St. Jude shows world its palliative success in symposium
Dr. Justin Baker, chief of St. Jude’s Quality of Life and Palliative Care Division, is becoming internationally known as one of the top palliative care doctors. The QOLA team's mascot is a koala bear and Baker often wears a koala suit while visiting patients. This week, St. Jude is hosting its third Pediatric Palliative Oncology Symposium, an invitation-only event for health care workers from across the nation and around the world.
