Drive-thru coronavirus testing is coming to The Shops of Arlington, thanks to a partnership between Kroger Health and the Town of Arlington.

Testing will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18 through Saturday, June 20 at 5226 Airline Road. The following week the testing will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, June 22 through Wednesday, June 24 at the same location.

Those interested need to use a virtual screening tool to determine eligibility and then to schedule their test at http://krogerhealth.com/covidtesting. Health care workers, and both those with and without symptoms can qualify.

When arriving for the test, patients should leave their vehicle windows rolled up until instructed and have photo ID ready.

The testing is in the form of a self-administered nasal swab.

Results are expected within 48 hours; Kroger Health expects to administer 250 tests per day.
