The Commercial Appeal’s parent company on Monday announced plans to furlough employees five days each month because of revenue losses from the coronavirus pandemic.
The Memphis Redbirds and Memphis 901 FC have laid off 18 full-time employees and furloughed other full-time staff as sports teams adjust to life without games, the team announced Monday.
