The Shelby County Health Department confirmed Saturday, April 25, the number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 2,038. A total of 44 deaths are related to the virus.

The Tennessee Black Caucus of State Legislators is asking Gov. Bill Lee that racial health disparities in the state “be promptly identified, thoroughly investigated and properly addressed.”
