Coronavirus: 131 new cases and 1 new death

The Shelby County Health Department reported one coronavirus-related death and 131 new coronavirus cases Sunday, March 14.
Active cases in Shelby County stand at 1,041.
A total of 212,724 vaccination doses have been administered in Shelby County. At least 147,540 people in Shelby County have received one COVID-19 vaccine dose; 65,184 have received both coronavirus vaccine doses, meaning they are fully vaccinated.
At the present time, Shelby County is vaccinating phase 1a1, 1a2, 1b, 1c and those aged 65 and up on an appointment-only basis. They can be scheduled online or by calling 901-222-7468 (SHOT).
Overall, the Health Department has reported 89,532 total coronavirus cases and 1,539 deaths.
A total of 1,056,380 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Shelby County.
