Coronavirus: New cases under 100 again

After five days of more than 100 new, daily coronavirus cases reported, the Shelby County Health Department reported fewer than 100 new cases on Monday, March 29.
The agency reported 78 cases and one new coronavirus-related death on Monday.
Shelby County’s coronavirus total is now 91,037 cases, including 1,567 deaths.
Shelby County’s public vaccination sites will be closed April 2-5.
Close to 300,000 coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Shelby County, according to the latest Shelby County Health Department data; 202,617 people have received at least one vaccine dose while 96,545 people have received two doses.
According to the latest Tennessee Department of Health data, 22.01% of Shelby County residents have received at least one coronavirus vaccine dose compared to 21.37% of Tennessee residents.
The number of coronavirus tests administered and area hospital capacity figures were unavailable Monday morning.
