The Tigers’ two leading scorers are officially returning to Memphis.
Landers Nolley II and DeAndre Williams both announced they would be back for another year, with statements made on social media.
“Fell short this year but we got a taste of what’s ahead. Here to win a national championship, nothing more, nothing less,” Nolley said.
Nolley was the Tigers’ leading scorer at 13.1 points per game and shot nearly 40% from the 3-point line.

Williams averaged 11.7 points and was second on the team in rebounding with 5.8 a game.
“They say true love has a habit of coming back and I truly believe that. Let’s do this again,” Williams said in part of a statement posted to social media.
Both were expected to return, but could’ve tested the NBA draft process. With the two back to lead the way, the Tigers retain a good chunk of the core that rolled to an NIT championship.
