Coronavirus: More than 150 new cases reported

The Shelby County Health Department reported more than 150 new cases on Monday, April 26.
The agency reported 153 new cases and no new coronavirus-related deaths.
The 153 cases come from 1,784 tests, giving the day a positivity rate of 8.6%.
Shelby County’s reported coronavirus total is now 94,856 cases, including 91,557 inactive cases, 1,686 active cases and 1,613 deaths.
The latest available hospital capacity figures are current as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 21.
There were 165 COVID-positive patients in area hospital beds, according to the Tennessee Healthcare Resource Tracking System.
According to the HRTS, 87% of area ICU and 92% of area acute care beds were in use.
About 20% of patients in area ICU beds were COVID-positive (61) or suspected of having the coronavirus (4). About 7% of patients in area acute care beds were either COVID-positive (104) or suspected of having the coronavirus (49).
And 48 area ICU and 181 area acute care beds were available.
Bed capacity is calculated by subtracting beds occupied by patients, unstaffed beds and beds that are otherwise unavailable.
The capacity figures are inclusive of all hospital facilities in Shelby, Tipton and Lauderdale counties in Tennessee as well as facilities in Crittenden County, Arkansas, and DeSoto County, Mississippi.
