Coronavirus: Two new deaths reported

For the third day in a row, the Shelby County Health Department reported fewer than 100 new coronavirus cases.

Wednesday’s 86 cases come from 1,155 tests, giving the day a positivity rate of 7.4%.

The agency also reported two new coronavirus-related deaths.

Shelby County’s reported coronavirus total is now 97,761 cases, including 1,266 active cases, 94,847 inactive cases and 1,648 deaths.
