Coronavirus: Six new deaths reported

The Shelby County Health Department reported six new coronavirus-related deaths on Friday, May 21.

The agency also reported 99 new coronavirus cases.

The 99 cases come from 2,441 tests, giving the day a positivity rate of 4.1%.

Shelby County’s reported coronavirus total is now 97,969 cases, including 1,177 active cases, 95,138 inactive cases and 1,654 deaths.
