ORDER OF PUBLICATION
This cause came to be heard on May 13, 2026 before the Honorable Sheldon Y. McCall, Magistrate of the Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee. Present before the Court was: the Guardian ad Litem, S. Rochelle McCrackin and Petitioner/non-relative, Taron Clark. The Court finds the Guardian ad Litem’s oral request to publish on Father, Marico Tate, which was accompanied by an Affidavit of Diligent Search, is well taken and should be granted.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED THAT:
- That the oral motion to publish on the Father, Marico Tate, is granted.
- That the Guardian ad Litem has made diligent efforts to locate the parents as reflected in the Affidavit of Diligent Search, and service by publication is appropriate.
- Service upon the Father, Marico Tate shall occur in the Memphis Daily News for four consecutive weeks as his last known residence was in Memphis, Tennessee.
- That the case be continued to August 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM for trial.
- That the Father, Marico Tate must appear before the Juvenile Court Of Memphis and Shelby County Tennessee, at 616 Adams Avenue, in person, on 7th day of August, 2026 at 9:00 AM for trial.
- The Father, Marico Tate, is hereby notified that the Court may enter an order of disposition with or without their presence.
