Although capacity was limited to 12,185, Grizzlies fans made their voices heard in pregame and carried that enthusiasm into FedExForum, where the halftime performance featured local rap star Young Dolph.

The standings window is closing for Memphis, which now looks destined to finish in the eighth or ninth position in the West. Either way, for the Grizzlies a date with a significant home game in mid-May is incredibly likely.

Ja Morant issued a call for Grizzlies fans to come to FedExForum for the team’s playoff push. It has been a tricky year for in-person attendance. But more and more fans are trickling back.

Due to winter weather conditions, the game at 8 p.m. Wednesday will not have spectators.
The loss can’t take away from the growing signs of promise.
Grizzlies have not announced if they will do the same.

No courtside seats will be available for Tigers games this season. The Grizzlies are still determining seating configurations.
The arena will have restricted capacity, and the team is looking at possible COVID-19 testing for fans in certain seating.
The NBA is looking at potential testing protocols for arenas at or above 50% capacity.
