A jury convicted a man Wednesday, Feb. 4, for threatening to kill a federal judge and two prosecutors in Memphis last year.
All of the men were charged after altercations with officers during attempted traffic stops, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee said. Traffic stops have increased since the Task Force began.
U.S. District Judge Mark Norris wrote that he recused himself “because of the apparent bias of others against the Court.”
