“We had a great seven-year run,” former Memphis coach and current UNLV coach Josh Pastner said of his time with the Tigers. “There were some great highs. A couple challenges, for sure.”
Pastner led Memphis to four NCAA Tournament appearances in seven seasons. Pastner and Memphis will now reunite when the Tigers and the Runnin’ Rebels meet at FedExForum next season.
